Tips On Finding A Cheap Jogging Stroller

There are so many jogging strollers on the market that it can be hard to first, choose the right one, and second, find a cheap jogging stroller that fits in your budget.

If you have a limited budget then often your best bet is to shop online.  There are online only retailers that offer good deals as well as online retail sites for all major stores and supermarkets.  Online sites have a wide selection of both pricey and affordable strollers of all types, sizes, and brand names.  You would, however, want to make sure the site you are considering buying a stroller from offers free or low cost shipping.  Many online sites ship for free, but others do not and it can be a bit pricey to have a stroller shipped to you, depending on where you live and how heavy the particular stroller you are buying is.

There are a few cheap jogging stroller options that can be found online, such as the Teal and Dijon Colored Instep 11-KS128 Run Around Stroller selling for $75 at the online retail site MeoEstore.com. There is also the Blue and Grey or Red and Grey Instep Safari Swivel-Wheel Jogging Stroller for $95 on Wal-Marts online retail site, and the Baby Trend Expedition LX Jogging Stroller selling on the Toys R Us online retail site for $120.

If you are not particular about buying a new stroller, you can often buy cheap jogging strollers that are still in good condition used.  EBay is a good site to check out if you are interested in used jogging strollers; however, it is often better to see the item in person before you purchase it.  Craigslist has a listing of used baby strollers for sale in your area, as does your hometown newspaper classifieds.

Once you have found one or more possibilities for sale in your area call the individual seller and make an appointment to come and see the stroller in person.  Check to make sure it is still in good condition; even if it has seen a little wear and tear, you will want to make sure that it does not have serious damage.  Remember, you cannot return or exchange items that have been purchased used from an individual seller.

Talk with the seller regarding the price; you can often get the price reduced from the price quoted initially, especially if the person selling the cheap jogging stroller is eager to get rid of it or has been trying to sell it for some time.

Discover The Tike Tech Jogging Stroller

Jogging, even when just for exercise, often requires special equipment like running shoes, clothes and perhaps an mp3 player. If you plan to take children along for the ride, you will need special equipment for them as well. Carrying them on your back is impractical and if you plan to push them in a regular stroller, you might as well be pushing a cardboard box. Jogging strollers are the accessories of choice for avid parent joggers and the following article will give a brief overview of the Tike Tech jogging stroller made by a company of the same name, an industry leader in sports oriented strollers.

Tike Tech has a corporate governance goal of safety and quality. Each Tike Tech jogging stroller goes through rigorous field tests to guarantee safe and reliable use for their customers. The business has even created a special department within its corporation with the sole purpose of improving production techniques, material sourcing, and design quality. It offers a line of high tech jogging strollers as well as street walkers featuring both single and double seating. A unique aspect of the business’s design process is the utilization of the proprietary concept called BSD or Baby Specific Design. Tike Tech starts out the design phase with the child or baby in mind before anything else. They also use independent frame damping which is a specially designed suspension system that minimizes vibrations during wheel impact for a slick and comfortable ride. Other in-house design concepts include IC or Infant compatibility and QAT, which is an acronym for the company’s quick adjustable tracking for front wheel components.

While Tike Tech makes models for everyday use, they have a complete line of jogging and running strollers for one or two children. The company’s premier single seat stroller is the all terrain 3X Sport, which features infant car seat or bassinet accommodation, adjustable handle, rear suspension for both wheels, front wheel tracking, and a one touch recline harness system. The sport single retails for about 230 dollars and comes in blue, orange, red or black. Sometimes you have to take both your babies with you while you work out and for that Tike Tech has the X3 Sport Twin jogging stroller. This Tike tech jogging stroller has many of the same features as the single however in a dual seat model. It comes in the same types of colors and retails for about 100 dollars more than the single model. All models, pricing and systems descriptions can be viewed at www.tiketech.com.

What Do Models And Jockeys Have In Common?

Apparently, a proclivity for attempting to lose weight in ways that will damage their bodies in the long run. A study done on British jockeys recently revealed that many of them opt to lose weight in dangerous ways. This includes all the usual techniques of vomiting, skipping meals, and exercising in a sweat suit.

Amazingly enough, they do this even though they have access to professional nutritionists that will tell them exactly how to safely and effectively keep their weight under control. In fact, the study showed that most of the jockeys were actually more likely to opt for losing weight in a dangerous manner after speaking to an expert.

I realize that jockeys, much like models, have a career that completely revolves around their weight. But is it really so much better to do this than to just eat right and exercise? Personally, the idea of eating a huge meal with steak, mashed potatoes, all the fixings, and a banana split for dessert is completely ruined if I am doing it with the knowledge that I will be jamming my finger down my throat directly afterwards.

Give me the treadmill any day!

Bend Over For A Little Shot Of Weight Loss

Modern medicine continues on its quest to come up with a pill, serum, salve, or injection that will help people to lose weight. Some researchers in Portugal have created a vaccine that shows promise. It works by reducing the sensation of hunger, which will hopefully get you to eat less.

Is this what the future has in store for us? Will there really be an end to the weight loss pill scams? Instead giving us something that really works.

Only time will tell. For now, this vaccine has only been successful in tests on mice. It could be ten years before any of us get to step right up for an injection of fitness. For now, what really works is exercise.

Diet Pill Lies And Deception

An associate professor and public health expert in Australia has put forth the opinion that weight loss pills are scams.

Imagine that. The possibility that an industry based around selling everyone a magic pill that will allow them to eat whatever they want, not exercise, and still lose weight might be stretching the truth a little bit.

Nothing Says Nutrition Like McDonald’s

Wait… What?

Okay, don’t take the title of this post too literally. I am certainly not suggesting that you plan too many meals at McDonald’s. We should all be well aware that many of the choices available at any fast food restaurant are high in fat and calories. But let’s face it, in the real world, many people insist on the occasional indulgence.

A McDonald’s in Texas recently installed a nutrition kiosk in the restaurant. It is interactive, complete with a touchscreen, and will tell you the calories, carbs, and fat content of the meal you are considering. This is a step in the right direction and will hopefully become more prevalent. Many people are guilty of having no true idea of what they are putting in their bodies, and tend to underestimate the calories that they eat throughout the day. The first step in living a more fit lifestyle is to be aware of what you are doing.

Here’s a video with the full story.

Air Max Trainers – The Best Fitness Shoes

In 1987, Nike started the popular shoe series called Nike Air Max trainers for Women. This shoe was unique for its unique air cushion piece, which was located in the mid section of most models. The first shoe type was called the Air Max I, and was later followed by the Air Max II, III and Air Max 180 from 1987 to 2003. The 1993 model had a completely visible cushion unit on the sides and back of the shoe, and the 1997 model featured a full-length air cushion that extended through the entire heel.

These shoes have always been known for their outstanding performance as running shoes. The Air Max 360 is one of the newer additions, and boasts good performance and comfortable wear. Specifically designed for jogging and strength conditioning, these shoes feature the Nike Fly wire that connects from the midsection to the laces for extra support. The large air unit at the bottom provides maximum impact protection and cushioning, while the Diamond FLX pattern on the front makes this shoe incredibly flexible and able to twist in all directions. These delta nodes will deflect any impact on the sole and then spring back into their original shape, preventing it from becoming deformed by the impact.

When running or performing fitness exercises, the feet repeatedly hit the ground with considerable force. This can cause considerable damage to the heel section, causing them to quickly wear out in some areas. Air max trainers do not have this problem however, because the air units on the heels will cushion the impact force and protect the rest of the shoe.

In 2006, the Air Max sneakers 360 were launched which featured a new shoe design, which used cushion through the midsole of the shoe. A few months later, the ‘one time only pack’ was introduced that combined the 360 with three classic designs. These three shoes were the 90, 95, and 97 series. For this exclusive release, the sole for the 360 was used to replace the sole for the classics, although the rest of the shoe remained intact. The shoes were released in their three original colors, grey and silver for the 97, green and yellow for the 95, and red for the 90. Like many other Nike shoes, deluxe models were also produced. The deluxe shoes could last for over 500 miles before their shock absorbing properties wore out. All Air Max trainers are made to ensure quality performance and long shoe life for both indoor and outdoor use.
